Job Description:

Core responsibilities

  • Working with enterprise scan tools, SD Elements, tracking and coordinating with Lending Grid Build, Final Security Governance and Architects to get necessary approvals for delivery of services into the production environment
  • Coordinating and validating new server build and technology stack delivery including ensuring framework and code installs are completed for key project deliverables
  • Supporting Sunrise and Sunset activities related to Technology Application Lifecycle Management goals and responsibilities
  • Supporting Business Continuity (BCP) testing and other support requirements for the team
  • Managing, designing and implementing changes related to infrastructure in support of the CORE Deal Decisioning platform including GMT, LDAP, database software, firewall, F5 and MQ Series upgrades and enhancements or other CORE project technology initiatives
  • Consulting with the application team and coordinating the release of all associated software updates required to complete a server upgrade, including O/S patching
  • Supporting deployment activities in non-production environments as well as environmental issues identification, analysis, and resolution
  • Providing support to the application teams through the configuration of their applications including troubleshooting any issues throughout the application’s Functional and Performance testing
  • Enhancing and improving the current monitoring and notification capabilities of CORE Deal Decisioning platform using enterprise tools and capabilities (e.g. Splunk, App Dynamics)

 

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations
  • Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Provides the strategy and design to build a utility for systems programming tasks required for installations, configurations, upgrades, and testing
  • Develops new documentation, departmental procedures, and user support guides
  • Consults with management, customers, and staff and recommends process and procedure improvements
  • Identifies and provides guidance to less experienced staff and/or resolves highly complex production problems
  • Leads projects, allocates and manages resources

 

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 6+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience

  • UNIX experience
  • SAN (Storage Area Network) experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology deployment and monitoring of clustered applications

  • AIX OS in-place upgrade experience
  • pSeries Virtual I/O configuration experience
  • Awareness of Wells Fargo Lending Grid Flex service management processes
