Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of state building code, state construction procedures for capital improvement and informal projects, good practical knowledge of several trades including plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning. Ability to meet and work with all kinds of people, from deans and directors to consultants, mechanics, and laborers. Proficiency in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting all types of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including knowledge of instruments and test equipment used in testing and adjusting systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of work experience in an environment developing competence in some of the below areas. Some supervisory experience is preferable.
• BSME degree from an ABET-accredited program and two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
