REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2 years of Software Engineering experience

  • Job Responsibilities include:
  • Service Restoration
  • Participate in bridge-lines and war rooms during critical and high priority incidents
  • Restore service for down systems
  • Root cause analysis for system failures
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to troubleshoot applications
  • Create and release communications to business partners for system failures/outages
  • Incident Management
  • Monitor queues and work incidents in a timely manner based on established SLAs
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to troubleshoot applications
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with vendors for incident resolution in case of third-party applications
  • Creation and/or maintain recovery documentation used to restore service
  • Collaborate with IT Service Desk and/or business partner to confirm the issue is resolved
  • Perform break/fix to address failures as time permits
  • Service Request Management
  • Process work orders to address data errors impacting systems, etc.
  • System Monitoring and Dashboards
  • Utilize monitoring tools to identify or prevent system failures
  • Maintenance of system dashboards to track critical system processes or business metrics
  • Service Introduction and Release Management
  • Participate in Service Introduction planning activities
  • Event Support
  • Participate in key events such as holiday support and disaster recovery testing
