Responsibilities:
- Set-up website development environments
- Identify and fix bugs in web-based applications
- Setup and configure Wordpress and related plugins
- Implement custom application features on Wordpress and PHP based websites
- Create high-quality HTML/CSS from graphic mockups
- Work with team members on identifying unexpected site behavior
- Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
- Ensure applications are thoroughly tested and meet business objectives
- Develop, document, and execute testing strategies, test cases, and procedures
- Be highly communicative about the personal schedule
- Meet with clients to derive content requirements
- Adhere to project timelines
- Proactively seek out new tasks
Development:
- 1+ years’ of Wordpress/CMS experience
- 3+ years’ Experience developing web pages using HTML5, PHP, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with Bootstrap front end framework
- Experience using Linux, Apache, MySQL, ASP/JSP/PHP
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating environments
- Basic knowledge of web servers and internet protocols
- Basic knowledge of databases, queries, and design
- Experience with GIT
- Basic understanding of NPM and other package management software
- Experience with Sage or other similar modern WP framework
Quality Assurance:
- Experience with common testing concepts and QA methods preferred
- Experience with software automation testing tools preferred
- Ability to create/document test cases and develop test plans preferred
