Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop two websites (corporate and internal) from scratch using a CMS framework such as Word Press.
• Design graphical elements such as website mockups, logos, icons, and infographics, as necessary.
• Perform quality control on websites.
• Coordinate and update web content (photos, text & graphics).
• Ensure that sites are optimized for search engines before going live.

Required Experience

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in digital arts/web design, computer science, marketing and/or graphic design.
• Experience developing responsive websites
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS and JavaScript a major plus
• Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
• Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
• Must be organized, able to work independently and be a team player
• In-depth understanding of the creative process, concept development, color theory, and typography
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs to include MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must provide a digital portfolio.
• Some travel may be required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
