Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop two websites (corporate and internal) from scratch using a CMS framework such as Word Press.
- Design graphical elements such as website mockups, logos, icons, and infographics, as necessary.
- Perform quality control on websites.
- Coordinate and update web content (photos, text & graphics).
- Ensure that sites are optimized for search engines before going live.
Required Experience
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in digital arts/web design, computer science, marketing and/or graphic design.
- Experience developing responsive websites
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Proficiency with HTML/CSS and JavaScript a major plus
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
- Must be organized, able to work independently and be a team player
- In-depth understanding of the creative process, concept development, color theory, and typography
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs to include MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must provide a digital portfolio.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
