What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the re-design of RegEd’s product portfolio through research, strategy, design, and development
- Gain an understanding of RegEd’s customers and gather feedback early and often to help inform design decisions
- Facilitate brainstorming and/or design sessions both internally and externally with customers as needed
- Conduct usability and accessibility testing of new and existing products and features, while making constructive recommendations for change
- Produce low-and-high fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specs, and prototypes to effectively communicate requirements to developers and QA
- Integrate UX research at various stages of a product life cycle and standardize design practices across the organization
- Partner with product managers, product owners and developers on devising better, simpler, smarter interactions. Bring your unique strength to help everyone grow and improve
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing to ensure finished products meet requirements
- Maintain overall UI quality and design systems for consistency and ongoing improvement across all digital experiences
- Participate in regular meetings to give and receive status reports on projects that require cross-functional support
- Be an advocate for the user and take a user-centric approach to design
What You Need for this Position:
- Qualified candidates must have 5+ years’ of applicable digital design experience producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and work samples to prove it
- Experience in designing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for localized/internationalized user experiences
- A portfolio that demonstrates the expertise of design principles for web (and mobile) platforms
- Strong knowledge of best practices for web design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and American Disabilities Act (ADA) best practices
- Experience in design systems, responsive strategies, and components
- Full interaction design skillset: user experience, information architecture, experience flows, wire-framing and prototyping
- Self-starter comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- A team player - ability to give and receive constructive feedback
