What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Extensive experience in open-source technologies, agile methodologies, and reliability based on modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to demonstrate a combination of highly-technical hands-on software architecture guidance and be an effective leader.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of the retail industry and the expectations of an omnichannel company.
• Ability to partner with other software architects to drive, leverage, and reuse technical craftsmanship in the larger IT organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
• 8 years of experience in Web application development
• 6+ years of experience working on build and release processes
• 6+ years of experience in GIT & GIT migration
• 5+ years of experience in Test-driven development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
• 6+ years of IT experience developing and implementing systems within an organization
• 6+ years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
• 6+ years of experience working with application and integration middleware
• 5+ years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and supporting container technologies
• Desired Tech skills: DEvops, CI/CD, TDD, Full-stack Engineer, and AngularJS or ReactJS.
