The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a product designer, experience designer, information architect, or a similar role
- Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Expertise in designing for responsive web and mobile apps. With knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of front-end technologies
- Experience creating design artifacts such as (but not limited to), wireframes, user flows, journey maps, design comps, design documentation, and prototypes
- Practical experience working with researchers to distill qualitative and quantitative feedback, identifying themes and deriving data-driven design decisions
- Experience collaborating with content strategists and an understanding of voice and tone as a key element of the user experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools
- Proven expertise with Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision, and/or UXPin, with an ability and openness to learning new tools quickly
- Experience designing interfaces using established design systems
- A background designing and building solutions for the Healthcare industry (or other highly regulated industry) is a plus
- A digital portfolio we can review online is required

- The broad set of design skills (generalist), which include interaction design, visual design, information architecture, journey mapping, and prototyping
- An aptitude and enthusiasm for working in teams, and a willingness to help your team complete tasks outside of your core competency, if necessary
- A strong understanding of user-centered design processes, systems thinking, and interaction design principles
- Strong presentation skills; equally at ease speaking with development teams or executives when articulating and advocating design concepts and rationale
