Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing, designing, planning, implementation and business readiness activities
  • Drive projects and teams to produce desired results. Interface with external and internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and/or analyze business problems and develop solutions
  • Develop/improve workflows and business processes to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency
  • Works with internal customers to identify specific user requirements and determine system needs to assure project deliverables meet customer expectations
  • Interviews employees at all levels to analyze work procedures and operational methods for the needs analysis stage of implementation
  • Documents current and desired processes, ensuring all documentation is kept up-to-date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis
  • Maintains and resolves requirements issues; coaches other BAs through such situations.
  • Creates functional specifications for delivering customer solutions.
  • Assists with the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and training documents.
  • Works with IT to deliver solutions and defining the approach for solution development and recommends business process enhancements.
  • Participates in the design and development/implementation of applications
  • Participates in problem solving in areas such as system design, input/output requirements and procedural flow between departments and/or business systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience with methodologies across Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience selecting, implementing, or at least working with requirements and/or PPM (project and portfolio management) tools/systems
  • CBAP or other business analysis certification preferred
  • Experience working directly with IT and business/functional team members to understand project concept, objectives and approach.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, and data modelling.
  • Proven working knowledge of agile software development processes
