Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance (70%)
    • Collaborate with agile team on project related requirements and acceptance criteria
    • Create and maintain robust test plans and test cases for all aspects of business systems with quality assurance best practices and standards
    • Execute functional tests cases and adhere to test schedules
    • Perform regression and smoke testing
    • Clearly communicate all bugs and issue uncovered through testing to the appropriate team members
    • Escalate and report risks and problems
    • Recommend quality and efficiency improvements
    • Identify areas to be improved with automating testing practices
    • Assist end users in trouble-shooting system issues
    • Help with UAT sessions as an expert
  • Application Management & Support (30%)
    • Ensure operational performance, data integrity, and business needs are met by the system on a daily basis
    • Serve as a point of escalation for application problems providing technical expertise
    • Support Operations & Engineering plans by delivering on key system initiatives
    • Focus on ways to implement process improvements for the benefit of the company
    • Assist end users in trouble-shooting and triaging system issues.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of Salesforce.com administration experience
  • 1 to 2 years of software quality assurance experience
  • Demonstrated successful experience in maintenance operations preferably at an IT Services or related industry
  • Demonstrated previous customer supporting roles
  • Demonstrates a customer focused orientation and mindset
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with business process/function/data that the system supports
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Proactive work ethic with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines
  • Expertise in automation tools like Selenium
  • Self-directed learning, problem solving and researching of system issues
