Responsibilities

• Experience configuring, troubleshooting big data environments
• Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
• Experience in the BI industry with knowledge of business modeling, ETL

• 2+ years analyzing requirements, developing tests cases with high test coverage, and manage tests results in an agile or other iterative software development methodology
• 6+ months experience working with Big Data vendors such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR and their supporting ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase,Kafka,etc) or equivalent.
• Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting software and environment issues
• Proficient with one or more programming/scripting languages (Java, Python)
• Hands on experience supporting automated test solutions.
• Proficient with SQL or an equivalent querying language
