Infrastructure and Cloud Architects will be part of a highly collaborative team accountable for defining and driving enterprise public cloud migration programs
- Subject matter expert on AWS and other cloud providers
- Work with business units, application team, security, and IT to design and build applications and services within AWS and/or other cloud providers.
- Provide end-to-end solution expertise to determine best architecture and cloud services to meet the business requirements.
- Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment.
- Document processes and procedures in managing and securing infrastructure making sure best practices are always followed.
- Collaborate with other architects at enterprise level to implement an effective CI/CD pipeline.
- Contribute to the refinement/execution of a Cloud Migration framework
Skill set:
- Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment
- AWS Certified – Solution Architect Professional.
- Knowledge of the primary AWS services (VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, IAM,CloudWatch, Route53 & S3)
- Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
- Experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.
- Extensive experience interacting with an infrastructure via the AWS CLI.
- Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc) preferred.
- Scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
- Experience working with cloud security and governance tools
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and operational procedures such as availability, recovery, archiving
- Containerization experience, Microservices experience
- Other Cloud Certifications (DevOps)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
