Mobile Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Manages a large team of iOS and Android engineers and owns engineering efforts of consumer mobile apps that require design, build and maintain solutions within a set of technology products.
Work across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack.
Ensures the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse stakeholders by building and maintaining trusting relationships with internal customers and senior management
Resolves escalated issues throughout the development, configuration, and modification of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions
Partners with the product team to help inform the priorities within a set of products, applications, and/or services
Demonstrate a combination of a highly-technical hands-on software architecture guidance and be an effective leader.
Hires, trains, and develops talent for growth opportunities; monitors team/individual’s morale and engagement to maintain highly effective and collaborative environments
Partners with the product team to help inform the priorities within a set of products, applications, and/or services
Setup full mobile engineering CI/CD pipelines, including automated build and release processes, fully automated testing suites, and production monitoring and support.
Experience with publishing mobile apps in public/consumer-facing mobile app stores.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related field
10+ years of IT experience
6 years of experience with software development or related field and working on projects involving the implementation of software development life cycles
5 years of experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, mentoring to project or technical team members and database digital technologies
5 years of experience delivering large scale public-facing mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
