- Develop code to build and modify applications using object oriented methodology.
- Write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.
- Design and conduct test cases in order to identify issues; develop efficient, quality solutions. This includes functional testing as well as new developments to ensure optimal performance within the system and/or platform being utilized.
- Provide application support (installations, configuration, data) for business operations systems, working with product vendors as needed.
- Implement feature and change requests and upgrades for operations systems.
- Identification and implementation of improvements to existing systems environments including any technical process improvements.
- Resolution of production issues involving operations systems technologies, working with support leadership to ensure incidents are addressed in a timely and high quality fashion.
- Participate in continual improvement of service management processes.
- Support systems integrations as necessary.
- Continually demonstrate high level of customer service and communication skill.
- Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-4 years of systems support and administration (software installation and upgrade, technical configuration, hardware/software troubleshooting, etc.)
- 2-3 years of systems engineering experience in specified application
- 1-2 years of development experience and desire to grow in this area. The following experience is essential: ASP.Net, C#, or Java ADO.NET, VB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, SQL Server, Web Services and ABAP. Python experience preferred.
- SQL Server experience including database management and SQL development
- Experience working in mature service management environment with some understanding of ITIL processes
- Experience across multiple applications a plus – presentation, application, integration, data, infrastructure.
- Strong passion for technology and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong customer service and communications skills.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed to support systems.
