The Education and Workforce Development Division at RTI International has an opening for an entry level Web/Database programmer to provide support for data collections for variety of education based projects. These projects may include national surveys, school and community centered research, program evaluations and analyses. The work would include activities such as supporting the data collection by working with resulting data, running e-mail campaigns, providing programming help to load data from other systems into the project database, creating reports, writing SQL code to provide responses to requests from managers, and creating and modifying web applications to help manage the data collection.

Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 1 year with proven skills in programming, web design, and/or database theory through either coursework or prior employment (Equivalent experience equals an Associates Degree and 4 years of experience experience or a Master's degree).

Experience in programming in one or more of the following languages/application/technologies: SQL, HTML, XML, ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, MVC, WPF, Tableau.

Transcripts of post-secondary coursework may be required for applicants who have graduated within 3 years of applying.

Willing to complete moderate security requirement process for the Department of Education, Position of Trust.
