- Learn the MS SQL Database platform and .NET and MVC languages
- Work with senior members of the database development team to develop solutions that meet business goals
- Function as a Database Administrator
- Develop stored procedures, functions, and other user-defined objects
- Optimize SQL queries
- Escalated support of production environment including shared after-hours rotation
- Participate in design and code reviews of solutions
- Develop web applications using MVC and .NET
- Assist with troubleshooting database performance problem
- Create and modify reports using MS SQL Reporting Services
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to interact with and learn techniques and technology from senior team members
- Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and seeks out opportunities to work collaboratively with others
- Completed coursework in the Microsoft technology stack
- Basic understanding of the T/SQL language
- Must have the ability to manage concurrent projects at different stages of completion
Preferred Skills:
- Prior Experience with .NET and MVC
- Prior Experience as a Database Administrator
