Specific Responsibilities:

Java and Spring is the Key

Experienced Java developer creating APIs within a spring architecture. Experience with Coldfusion or the willingness to learn Coldfusion is required. Candidate will be tasked with creating APIs in Spring and also supporting legacy Coldfusion Apps.

This is Mid to Senior Level position requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a member of the Application Development team, applicant will assume a pivotal role in the creation, maintenance, and development of web based financial applications used to power the company's core services. They will be expected to come up to speed quickly to meet technical goals within a hard-working and collaborative team. We have high expectations and are looking for professionals with demonstrable experience in the areas described below.

Experience developing applications with Java and/or ColdFusion.
Experience and/or strong knowledge of Object Orientated Programming (CFCs).
Developing, deploying, and monitoring enterprise applications.
MySQL experience (query syntax, stored procedures, query optimization.)
Commitment to security, systems reliability, scalability and extensibility.
Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adhere to development process and deadlines.
Must place a high value and take personal ownership of extremely secure, highly available, fault-tolerant applications.
Enthusiastically troubleshoot problems when they occur.
Thrive as a collaborative team player.
Desirable Skills and Experiences:

Experiences with any of the following:
ColdFusion, Java, Spring, AWS, Python, PDF Manipulation, Twitter Bootstrap.
REST API
Experience with Banking and Financial Institutions, Protocols, and the ACH network.*
Application Security - secure coding standards, security code review.
