Recruitment:
- Define Talend System Architecture - define Standard Environment, Common Sandbox, Individual project, Environment Parameters, SVN Repository setup, server nodes, defining work areas, server directory structure, etc·
- Define reusable design patterns e.g. data movement (inbound/outbound) processes, surrogate key generation process, data validation processes, data load process, data extraction process, etc.·
- Define / Develop foundational components - Error / Audit framework, Source acquisition ETL framework, etc·
- Assist developers to fine-tune Talend performance.
- Optimize development through solution accelerators & value creators.
- Ensure job modularity by dividing the ETL flow into manageable jobs/processes to ensure reusability. Identify dependencies b/w multiple ETL flows and define the coding specifications
- Create detailed technical design documents.
- Review unit test cases and test results.
- Oversee Talend development. Guide and mentor the developers during coding and testing. Review the ETL code for logic as well as performance.
- Hand-On on ETL technologies (Talend) – to support the ETL Developer community
- Working alongside Principal Consultant to assist with the implementation of Talend solutions including best practices, methods, techniques, tools, change management, and training.
- Providing different team leads with effective support on ETL optimization.
- Review & Optimization of ETL jobs
- Relational & Non-Relational Database skills
Experience:
- Overall 12-15 years+ of ETL Or Big Data Architect
- 3 years experience on Talend, it has to be recent experience
- Some Big Data hands-on work experience like Hadoop, HiveSpark is good to have
