What You Bring

  • Data entry skills to help us meet production goals, minimize errors and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Able to manage multiple complex workflow processes.
  • Willing to take initiative, communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external teams to complete assignments.
  • Able to review bridge inspection and maintenance reports to check appropriate changes to structure inventory data.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting structure plans, Federal Guidelines and the State's recording and coding practices to develop comprehensive bridge inventory data.
  • Able to edit, create and process structure-related data for existing and new structures.
  • Keep current in standards and not exceed a two-year work cycle.
  • Perform quality control duties.
  • Secure information from all sources and compile into new structural data to disseminate to bridge inspection section, bridge analysis section, field maintenance operation section, and to any agency or user of structure-related information.
  • Considerable knowledge of state and federal regulations on structure data coding.
  • Able to train others.
  • Can perform moderately complex calculations
  • Able to read, understand and interpret structure design plans.
  • Able to clearly and concisely convey information in writing and speaking to individuals or groups.
  • Ability to listen and respond appropriately to others.
  • Can coordinate, facilitate, and participate in a collaborative approach to completing tasks or assignments.

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree in an area of Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or a related curriculum; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
