Project work will include the following:
- Will perform engineering calculations that may include: structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices.
- Each project could also include preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, development of a BOM, estimating costs, etc.
- All projects will be related to electric power distribution and leadership - specifically make - ready and smart antenna
- 90% of the day will be design development and coordination
- 10% they will be required to go out in the field - this would be after they several months on the job
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree is electrical/civil/mechanical engineering
- 0-2 years experience in electrical power utilities
- Must have a passion for electrical power
