What You’ll Be Doing
- Applying a thorough knowledge of design and visual art concepts and practices pertinent to web design, graphic design, printing, typography, and layout
- Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and additional, internal teams to deliver impactful graphics for various campaigns
- Brainstorming new and creative design concepts and messaging techniques
- Assisting in creating course flyovers for use on the Relias website
- Developing and maintaining solid relationships with clients by listening, understanding, and responding to client needs while developing communication and design solutions that meet the project’s budget and time frame
- Keeping up with the latest software, design trends, social channels, etc.
- The building, organizing and maintaining a rich library of images, icons, infographics, publications for departmental use
- Understanding the market, current product suite, and customer priorities
- Demonstrating autonomy in the management of creative projects
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar visual arts degree
- 2 + years in a creative role or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in a PC environment
- Expert experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge); Interested in a candidate with strong animation experience including use of After Effects and Premiere Pro CC
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- The ability to take constructive criticism and adjust designs as needed to accomplish project goals
- Strong organizational skills and are detail-oriented
- The ability to multi-task and switch priorities at a moment’s notice if needed to accomplish project goals
- The ability to adjust project details to meet budget and/or time commitments, as well as unexpected production challenges
- Knowledge of mobile app, epub, and responsive design techniques a plus
