Required Skills:
- Ability to perform unit, regression and system testing and document test results.
- Ability to independently, quickly, and efficiently identify technical problems that can impact a large number of customers.
- Ability to develop strong technical knowledge with a strong understanding of customer requirements to offer customer solutions to problems in a very practical, timely and efficient manner.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Understanding of the project development life cycle, including but not limited to application analysis, development, testing, documentation, approval and post-migration validation.
- Attention to detail and ability to form strong relationships between team members, customers, and management is essential.
- Desire and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical users.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
- Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger, Account Receivable, Asset Management and/or Billing modules.
- Previous higher education experience is beneficial but not required.
- Experience with database querying and reporting using SQL.
- Experience with user interface development and best-practice user interface design.
